Job summary

Optiv + ClearShark is seeking a Sr. Cribl Engineer to lead a cybersecurity delivery team in Chantilly, VA. You will own Cribl-related engineering tasks, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients to translate requirements into actionable solutions.

Qualified applicants hold TS/SCI with CI poly, a related Bachelor’s, and 7–10 years of experience in regulated environments. Strong leadership, comms, and SIEM expertise are essential for success on this program.

Qualifications

Holds TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in a related area.
7–10 years of related work experience.
Experience operating in classified environments.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute tasks outlined in the scope of work and follow SOPs with minimal oversight.
Lead discussions with clients to analyze and understand needs.
Aid junior engineers in complex tasks and ensure quality outcomes.
Lead technical discussions to define engineering requirements.
Oversee project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Mentor Associate and Level I/II engineers and review their work.
Manage timecards and expense approvals for team members.
Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Communicate effectively the technical concepts to clients.
