Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Crew and Equipment Design Engineer (Level 2) or Principal Engineer (Level 3) to develop crew and equipment installations and integrate systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience; Master’s in STEM with no years of experience.
• Principal requires Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years or Master’s with 3 years or PhD with no experience.
• Must have design experience with sheet metal, machined details and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Develop ICDs, layouts, and drawings of crew and equipment installations.
• NX modeling and equipment integration.
• Work with suppliers for integration activities.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with collaboration across levels.
• Self-starters capable of flourishing with minimal direction.
