Job summary

The Boeing Company in Herndon, VA is seeking an Audio Visual Programmer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior) to design, program, and test high-performance AV solutions for government customers. You will generate Crestron-based system designs, support customer meetings to capture requirements, and help deploy and commission AV installations on-site.

Applicants should have active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain CIP, experience with Crestron, and programming in C++, Java, Python or similar

Qualifications

• This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance (current or active within 24 months).
• Willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) or already have one.
• Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Proven experience with Crestron programming and system environments.
• Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic.
• Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex AV systems.
• Hands-on experience with network programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-performance AV solutions for government customers.
• Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies.
• Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document system requirements.
• Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.
• Support onsite deployment of AV systems and configuration phases.
• Coordinate with customer facilities teams and onsite sub-contractors/vendors during installations.
• Support development of end-user training materials and operations/maintenance plans.
• Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
• Develop expertise through continuing training, certifications, and reading trade publications.
