Renasant Bank is seeking a CLU Senior Credit Underwriting Manager to lead a team underwriting large commercial loans and renewals across multiple states. You will guide credit decisioning, prepare detailed memos, and mentor staff while ensuring policy compliance and timely reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or economics preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial loan underwriting or 10 years in commercial lending.
• Experience underwriting construction, C&I, and CRE loans.
• Ability to analyze tax returns and financial statements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; nCino experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of underwriters for large unsecured ($250M+) and secured exposures ($250M+).
• Manage workflow for pre-flights, new and renewal loan requests, annual reviews.
• Train and guide staff on loan policies and department procedures.
• Serve as SME, answering questions and mentoring underwriting staff.
• Oversee performance appraisals and hire underwriting staff.
• Prepare credit memos with transaction summaries, financial analyses and risks.
• Develop credit information for lending decisions and relationship reviews.
• Attend client calls with Relationship Manager to gain client insight.
• Refer new business opportunities to appropriate bank staff.
• Ensure high-quality production and timely turnaround; complete nCino duties.
