Job summary

Huntington Bank seeks a Sr. Credit Underwriter - Inventory Finance to analyze creditworthiness and approve or recommend financing within guidelines. You will review financial statements, perform ratio and cash-flow analysis, and assess eligibility for financing.

Duties include underwriting narratives, spreading statements with Moody's software, collateral analysis, and presenting to the loan committee. Office-based with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 3+ years wholesale/commercial credit underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite high quality credit narratives and review transactions.
• Spread financial statements and tax returns using Moody's software to analyze trends.
• Analyze cash flow from operations and identify sources of cash flow.
• Research industry trends and risks.
• Perform collateral analysis (AR, inventory, real estate).
• Run credit reports and gather KYC information.
• Spread personal financial statements and analyze borrower cash flow.
• Monitor delinquency and repossession activity.
• Prepare written loan recommendations and present to loan committee.
