M&T Bank is seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter for leasing in Bridgeport, CT. The role focuses on underwriting, approving, and funding the most complex lease and loan requests with significant risk exposure.

You will advise on deal structure, prepare credit presentations, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial credit/lease underwriting, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to mentor others.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial credit, leasing, or related financial analysis experience; 9 years combined experience if no degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present and advise on complex deals.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial statement analysis, and related software.

Mansioni

• Underwrite and fund lease and loan requests, including the largest and/or most complex transactions.
• Prepare credit presentations and ensure policy compliance and risk controls.
