Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 3–10 years of experience in credit underwriting of commercial loans.
• Ability to structure loans in a manner beneficial to customer and bank.
• Autonomy to make sound credit decisions and take responsibility.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work assignments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Bilingual in Chinese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite a wide variety of complex secured and unsecured loans and lines of credit.
• Analyze financial statements, financial ratios, tax returns, and other documents to evaluate risk.
• Prepare written loan recommendations consistent with bank objectives.
• Work with clients or account officers to determine financing solutions in complex cases.
• Coordinate loan applications with branches/BDOs and communicate progress.
