Job summary

NAIC's Securities Valuation Office is seeking a Supervisor, SVO in a full-time hybrid role based near New York. You will lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, review and approve research, and produce high-quality credit analyses for the Senior Credit Committee.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in fundamental credit analysis, a advanced degree or CFA, and a track record of supervisory leadership. Residency within 100 miles of the NY office is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, MBA in Finance, or CFA required; 15+ years in credit analysis with 10+ years of fundamental credit analysis preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred and highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, setting workloads and performance goals.
• Review and approve analysis and credit reports for committee review.
• Perform independent credit and pricing analysis on assigned issuers across various sectors.
• Provide updates on major trends, productivity, and backlog to management.
• Support the Senior Credit Committee with research and recommendations.
