Job summary

Atlas is expanding access to credit with the Rewards Mastercard and related services, focusing on applicants with limited credit histories. This role will own the credit book, delinquency, loss curves, and policy performance while partnering closely with engineering to improve models and tests.

You will drive portfolio performance, limits, policy decisions, and measurement criteria, enabling clear, data-driven recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in credit risk, credit strategy, underwriting analytics, or a closely related analytical role.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with the ability to work in Atlas's data warehouse (BigQuery).
• Experience using AI tools to write queries and speed up analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio performance and monitor delinquency, loss curves, and segment performance.
• Own limits, exposure, and policy impact through data-driven recommendations.
• Define how credit is measured and evaluate policy changes before release.
• Collaborate with credit engineering to test model changes and new signals.
• Monitor production calibration, drift, and reporting on credit metrics.
• Support compliance through fair lending testing and documentation.
