Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and decide in complex commercial credit situations.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit risk policy, risk-rating and collateral analysis.
• Solid underwriting experience and knowledge of bank credit agreements.
• Familiarity with regulatory agencies and reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio and prioritize tasks.
• Strong executive-level written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk oversight and credit decisioning for a portfolio of complex exposures.
• Evaluate credit requests and make timely decisions within policy and risk appetite.
• Assess risk ratings, accrual status, reserves, charge-offs and collateral support.
• Collaborate with SAG Executives and workout teams on restructuring strategies.
• Communicate material changes to senior management and stakeholders.
• Engage with Accounting Policy on interpretations for criticized portfolios.
• Support AQ forecasting, portfolio reviews, and governance reporting.
• Provide training on regulatory and policy changes as needed.
• Prepare for Shared National Credit Reviews and audits.
• Review and update guidance and policies on distressed debt.
