Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Credit & Risk Manager to lead enterprise-wide credit, risk management, and payment protection programs for commercial, federal government, and construction projects.

You will assess risk, establish credit limits, terms, and safeguarding measures across the project lifecycle. Collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Operations, Finance, and Risk Management to mitigate risk using tools like Origami Risk and Levelset, ensuring lien rights and timely notices are maintained

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial credit, construction finance, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of mechanic's liens, bond claims, financial statement analysis, and project risk evaluation.
• Experience with federal contracting and government projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Credit evaluations for customers and project opportunities.
• Maintain customer risk classification framework and monitoring process.
• Assess bonds, financing arrangements, and contractual protections.
• Collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Operations, Finance, and Risk Management.
