Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial credit, construction finance, risk management, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial statement, cash-flow, and credit-risk analysis experience.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, and portfolio-risk management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the creditworthiness and financial strength of new and existing commercial customers
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, credit reports, payment history, project backlog, and contractual obligations
• Establish and monitor credit limits, payment terms, collateral requirements, and risk ratings
• Manage the commercial credit portfolio and identify emerging risks and areas of exposure
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, payment trends, and customer concentration risk
• Review construction-related considerations, including project financing, bonding, retainage, liens, and contractor risk
• Develop and maintain credit policies, approval thresholds, internal controls, and risk-management procedures
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Contracts, Sales, and Operations
• Prepare credit-risk reporting and portfolio analysis for senior leadership
• Support collection strategies and escalated high-risk accounts
