Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager to lead independent credit analyses, assess borrower financial condition, and monitor portfolio risk across commercial lending.

You will apply judgment to structure solutions, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to meet regulatory and business goals; a Bachelor's degree and 6–8+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically requires 6-8+ years of prior experience in credit risk management.
• Deep knowledge of credit risk concepts and analytic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Reviews complex business loan requests and performs independent credit analysis including assessment of borrower financial condition, management, operations, loan structure, and overall credit risk.
• Applies sound judgment to evaluate risk, structure credit solutions, and approve, or decline credit requests in accordance with lending authority and policy.
• Manages an assigned portfolio through monitoring, risk rating, portfolio analysis, and remediation of emerging credit concerns to maintain portfolio quality.
