YouLend in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to support the US credit risk and underwriting functions. You will work with the US team and the central risk function in London to drive credit strategy, policies, and decisioning frameworks for high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or related risk management within fintech or financial services.
• Understanding of credit underwriting, data science models, risk appetite frameworks and portfolio risk management.
• Strong quantitative and deductive reasoning; identify insights in complex data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; explain risk concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to evaluate financial statements, cash flow, and credit data for risk decisions.
• Highly organized; manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in SQL and ideally Python.

Responsibilities

• Support the Credit Strategy for the US market.
• Contribute to the delivery of US business KPIs (growth, profitability, loss rate).
• Collaborate with Credit Risk teams across markets to share insights and risks.
• Own and deliver key US Credit Strategy projects and innovations.
• Continuously develop the Credit Strategy to maintain market leadership.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify trends in credit quality and losses.
• Prepare risk reporting and insights for senior management and Credit Committee.
• Foster strong relationships across risk analysts, underwriters and stakeholders.
• Adhere to Risk Governance Frameworks and Credit Risk policy in the US market.
