Job summary

AFFIRM is a remote-first fintech company helping people pay over time with clarity and fairness. As a Staff Product Manager on the Credit & Pricing team, you’ll shape how consumers discover, understand, and use credit across shopping, repayment, and marketing to build trust and drive activation.

You will lead cross-functional work with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, and Legal to translate capabilities into clear, user-friendly experiences while balancing growth and risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience across fintech/e-commerce or similar.
• Proven ability to define direction for a large product area and align teams.
• Strong judgment translating complex systems into intuitive experiences.
• Depth in strategy and technical considerations for scalable platforms.
• Rigorous with experiments, data, and customer insight for prioritization.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity with clear rationale and risk assessment.
• Curiosity about credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered UX advantages.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction; define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences.
• Build experiences that help users explore financing options before checkout.
• Create relevant journeys with research and experimentation to meet user needs.
• Connect platform capabilities to outcomes; own prequalification and purchasing power.
