Job summary

Bank of America in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Credit Team Lead to manage a group of Credit Support Associates and oversee underwriting for traded product portfolios. You will partner with senior Credit Officers to deliver robust underwriting support, portfolio monitoring and controlled execution across complex credit deals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in institutional banking, Global Markets, credit, risk, operations or a closely related discipline.
• Experience leading, mentoring or formally managing colleagues in a performance‑focused team environment.
• Knowledge of traded product documentation such as ISDA, MSFTA, Repo Agreements, MRA and credit agreements.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with credit/risk systems and BI or automation tools is advantageous.
• Ability to review outputs for accuracy, completeness and policy alignment.

• Act as the senior escalation point for complex credit support, control, data quality and execution issues.
• Partner with Credit Officers, Operations and other stakeholders to support accurate trade booking, lifecycle management, pre‑closing and post‑closing activity.
