The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in commercial credit analysis or underwriting, with strong analytical and communication skills and attention to detail. Travel may be required; located across Peoples Bank footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; accounting/finance focus.
• 2+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience.
• Ability to evaluate financial statements and draw conclusions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply bank credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform covenant testing and risk rating validation for complex credits.
• Analyze financial statements, trends and ratios to assess credit quality.
• Prepare and manage communications with borrowers, including letters.
• Review collateral and ensure compliance with loan documents and upload to systems.
• Monitor borrowing base requirements and update internal trackers.
• Assist with exams, audits and loan reviews as needed.
• Provide guidance to Credit Portfolio Analysts and support special projects.
