Division Description: The Risk Management Department contributes to the sustainable growth of Societe Generale through expertise, understanding of risks, and risk management techniques. Its mission is to analyze, assess, manage, and monitor risk-taking activities to achieve optimal outcomes for the bank. The department oversees enterprise, strategic, credit, market, liquidity, operational, model, and other risks across various business activities.
RISQ/CRE oversees: Management of credit related to corporates, financial institutions, sovereign counterparties, and country risk for SG Group.
The Team Head oversees all credit risks within the Financial Institutions scope for the SG Americas perimeter, managing a team of 5 Senior Credit Officers. The scope includes Banks, Brokers, Insurance, Private Equity; products include Cap Call Facilities, PE Fund Financing, securitizations, and structured fund financing. The assets span various classes, including vanilla and structured products, across trading and lending activities. The role involves setting risk appetite and standards for credit risk management.
