The Symicor Group is assisting a Memphis, TN-based bank client in hiring a Chief Credit Officer. This executive leads the credit department, oversees loan risk management, policy adherence, and regulatory compliance to protect the portfolio and earnings.

The position offers a base salary up to $185K and an excellent benefits package. It is not a remote role and requires extensive banking experience, including heavy C&I lending, loan workout expertise, and strong leadership capabilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
• Ten+ years in financial/credit analysis and lending.
• Management experience required.
• Heavy experience with C&I lending.
• SBA/loan workout experience preferred.
• Bank management program or related degree preferred.
• Ability to create and analyze credit presentations, loan policies, and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret business/regulatory materials.

• Oversee loan risk management and minimize losses.
• Maintain loan policy and underwriting procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends; report to leadership.
• Inform President, Board, and Loan Committee of material considerations.
• Develop and oversee internal credit training; hire and coach staff.
• Ensure proper loan documentation for covenant compliance.
• Oversee impairment analysis.
• Review loans before External Loan Committee meeting.
• Develop loan packets; oversee stress tests.
• Lead annual large loan review and loan policy review.
• Lead loan review and train internal loan review.
• Coordinate continuing education; manage Disaster Recovery Plan information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
