Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Credit Officer II to provide expert advisory in complex debt-capital solutions for commercial banking clients, covering lines of credit, term loans, tax-exempt financing, and syndicated loans.

You will manage associated credit exposure, collaborate with Relationship Management and Treasury Sales, and work with underwriting teams to deliver integrated, risk-aware financing structures and solutions.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in commercial banking or related complex lending.
• Strong communication across levels and functions.
• Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
• Analytical/technical skills including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.
• Industry knowledge across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide capital-structure solutions and credit advisory for a portfolio of clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Negotiate credit documentation and drive the credit process.
• Lead credit and risk approval processes and mentor team members.
