Job summary

Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) in New York is seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate, Credit Investments to analyze investments and underwrite opportunities across credit strategies.

The role covers due diligence, financial modeling, drafting documentation, and presenting to the Investment Committee, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with Legal, Risk and Tax teams. A bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of related experience are required; CPA/MBA/CFA assets are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic standing.
• 2–4 years in investment banking, leveraged finance, private credit or buy-side.
• Strong financial modelling, investment judgement, accounting analysis and valuation.
• High attention to detail, presentation skills, strong organization and prioritization.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Direct lending or credit investing experience is an asset.
• CPA/CA, MBA and/or CFA designation is an asset.
• Good communications skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform investment analysis and underwriting of CI opportunities.
• Participate in due diligence with management and third-party reports.
• Build and review detailed financial models and scenarios.
• Assist in drafting commitment papers.
• Prepare investment recommendation memorandums.
• Present proposals to the Investment Committee.
• Interface with Legal, Risk, and Tax teams.
• Independently manage defined transaction workstreams at Associate level.
