Job summary

CHS Inc. in Mitchell, SD is seeking an Experienced Credit Analyst to join the finance team. You will evaluate customer creditworthiness, manage credit portfolios and make recommendations to protect CHS from financial risk while supporting business growth.

This hybrid position requires strong financial analysis, negotiation and collaboration with customers and internal partners. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 2+ years in Finance, Accounting or Credit and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Credit
• MS Office proficiency
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage third party financing activity, including applications, advances, and payments for internal and external lenders
• Perform pre-sale credit risk evaluations on new customers with emphasis on financial analysis
• Conduct financial credit evaluations on portfolios, identify risk elements and assign risk ratings
• Negotiate collateral requirements and monitor delinquent accounts in coordination with internal teams
• Support cash flow optimization and collaborate with Collections and Legal on risk matters
• Participate in special projects to enhance department effectiveness using technology
• Maintain safety culture and follow policies; assist in workload as needed
