Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar financial analysis role.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, credit risk assessment, and credit underwriting principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough credit underwriting for new and existing customers by evaluating credit information from banks, trade creditors, and credit reports to ensure appropriate credit limits.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure accounts receivable remains current and resolve past-due amounts.
• Support delinquency resolution by recommending corrective actions to bring accounts up to date.
• Monitor lien rights and provide reporting on past-due amounts with expiring lien rights and process lien releases as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor less experienced Credit Analysts to drive performance.
