Job summary

AWC, Inc. is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to evaluate customer creditworthiness, manage credit risk, and establish appropriate credit limits in support of profitable growth.

You will partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to balance customer service with prudent risk management while protecting company assets. The ideal candidate has strong financial analysis skills and business judgment to align credit decisions with AWC's employee-owner culture and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive commercial/corporate credit analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, payment histories, and industry trends to determine credit exposure.
• Establish initial credit limits for new customers and adjust existing limits as needed.
• Monitor portfolio risk, aging reports, and debt performance; recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations for management approval and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support collections and sales teams to optimize cash flow while protecting company assets.
