Job summary

Daily Recruits, LLC seeks a Sr. Credit Analyst for a full-service commercial bank in Miami Lakes, FL. You will underwrite new commercial requests and renewals, including the bank's most complex deals, and conduct annual reviews of existing relationships.

You will collaborate with Commercial Loan Officers and credit leadership to identify credit risks, ensure proper approvals, and support loan committees with portfolio analytics and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college preferred.
• Five or more years of commercial credit experience, preferably within a bank environment.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and legal principles underlying the bank's documents.
• Computer literate; fluency in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Experience in lease administration database, SAP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform review of appraisals and real estate evaluations. Monitor and test loan covenants for existing credit relationships.
• Work with Commercial Loan Officers and credit leadership to identify credit risks and route to approved levels.
• Ensure exceptions to lending policy are noted and approved at the proper level.
• Provide training and mentoring of staff for advancement and complex credits.
• Develop portfolio analytics, including HLTV, policy tracking, and stress testing; present to loan committees.
• Contribute to loan loss recommendations and maintain understanding of lending policy and interagency rules.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Credit Analyst to join a full-service, commercial bank in Miami Lakes, Florida. In this position, you will be responsible for underwriting new commercial requests and renewals, including the bank's most complex requests. Performs annual financial reviews of existing commercial relationships.

In This Position, You Will

• Perform review of appraisals and real estate evaluations. Monitor and test loan covenants for existing credit relationships.
• Work collaboratively with Commercial Loan Officers and the credit department leadership to ensure that credit risks are identified and credited to credit approvers and loan committees.
• Ensure that all exceptions to the bank's lending policy are noted and noted that the proper level of approval is for all requests based on requirements in the bank's lending policy.
• Provide training and mentoring of staff for promotion and enhancement, developing enhanced independence in all aspects, particularly relating to more complex credits.
• Develop continually advancing portfolio analytics, including high loan to value (HLTV), policy tracking, and stress testing. When appropriate, make presentations to the bank's various loan committees.
• Contribute to recommendations for the loan loss.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the bank's lending policy, as well as interagency regulations.
