Qualifications

• Preferably a college graduate or at least two years of college completed.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare administration, credentialing, and provider enrollment for facility-based providers.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting.
• Familiarity with credentialing software such as CAQH and CredentialStream.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Client-service oriented with ability to collaborate in teams.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete payer enrollment and facility appointment applications for providers.
• Track progress of outstanding applications and communicate with provider relations representatives.
• Maintain provider credentialing records and credentialing software databases.
• Maintain credential files in an orderly and current manner.
• Support new practice setup and special projects as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed and protected health information is safeguarded.
• Provide research and administrative support for department initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
