Job summary

TriHealth in Norwood, OH seeks a Lead Credentialing Coordinator to manage timely credentialing and processing for initial appointments and reappointments. You will provide executive support for Credentials and the Medical Executive Committee while guiding colleagues and leadership on practitioner competency and compliance.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and the ability to handle high workload in a healthcare environment, reporting to the Director of the Medical Staff

Qualifications

• Experience with credentialing for medical staff or healthcare providers.
• Ability to audit and review applications for Medical Staff Appointment/Privileges.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Timely credentialing/processing of applications for initial appointment and reappointments.
• Performs executive support for Credentials and Medical Executive Committee activities.
• Provides support and guidance to colleagues and medical staff leadership in determining practitioner competency.
• Monitors development and maintenance of a credible credentialing process with routine auditing of applications.
