Job summary

TriHealth in Norwood, OH is seeking a Lead Credentialing Coordinator to manage initial appointment and reappointment credentialing, and to provide executive support for Credentials and Medical Executive Committee activities.

You will guide colleagues, audit applications, assess licensure and education, and ensure timely follow-up while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of business school, college, university or specialty certification required.
• 3–4 years of professional experience required.
• Medical staff credentialing or healthcare credentialing experience.
• CPCS – Cert Provider Credentialing Specialist within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Timely credentialing/processing of applications for initial appointment and reappointments.
• Performs executive support for Credentials and Medical Executive Committee activities.
• Provides guidance to colleagues and medical staff leadership on practitioner competency.
• Monitors development and maintenance of credentialing processes including audits.
• Guides follow-up to address credentialing and privileging concerns.
