Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Senior Underwriter to manage portfolio risk, guide credit structure and risk ratings, and coordinate with Credit, Loan Administration to streamline underwriting and loan administration workflows.

• Master's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Ten or more years of commercial lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite CRE originations and portfolio exposures across multiple asset classes.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, cash flows, collateral valuation, sponsor strength and covenants.
• Prepare credit analyses and supporting documentation for credit decisions.
• Support deal originations, budget monitoring, and construction draw reviews.
• Collaborate with Credit, Loan Administration and risk partners to ensure underwriting quality.
