Jobot is seeking a Senior Property Accountant in Miami, FL, to oversee full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including shopping centers. This permanent, on-site role emphasizes accurate financial reporting and strong internal-controls support.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in CRE accounting, proficiency with GL systems and GAAP, advanced Excel, and excellent communication skills to convey complex information to stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial real estate accounting, focusing on shopping centers.
• Proficiency in GL accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and related principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-financial stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• CPA certification is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing the full cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties, including shopping centers.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reports to management.
• Coordinate with property managers to rent roll management and lease administration.
• Assist in annual budgets and forecasts; conduct budget-to-actual analysis.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide support during audits.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.
