Orion Placement in Newark, NJ is seeking an experienced commercial real estate paralegal to support acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and closings, with on-site collaboration with a transactional team.

You will review title commitments, coordinate due diligence, and manage closing documents, gaining meaningful ownership on high-value deals while delivering precise, client-focused service.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years of commercial real estate transactional paralegal experience.
• Strong experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and closings.
• Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and client service.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions from diligence through closing.
• Assist with loan, financing, and refinancing transactions.
• Review and coordinate due diligence materials and transaction documents.
• Analyze title commitments, surveys, and related real estate documents.
• Prepare closing checklists, closing documents, and post‑closing deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, opposing counsel, and other transaction participants.
• Support commercial leasing matters and entity formation work.
• Track multiple transactions and deadlines while keeping matters organized.
• Provide proactive, detail‑oriented support to attorneys throughout the transaction lifecycle.
