Job summary

Bank of Marin is seeking a Senior Real Estate Credit Administrator in the Credit Risk Management division, based in Novato, CA. The role focuses on safe growth of the CRE loan portfolio, ensuring accurate credit presentations, and maintaining risk grades and loan structures to manage risk.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of relevant banking experience, with strong CRE credit documentation and accounting knowledge supporting underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant banking experience and/or training.
• Strong understanding of documentation of complex commercial real estate credits.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to quickly understand and communicate concepts both verbally and in written form.
• Excellent accounting knowledge applied to credit underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe growth of the Commercial Real Estate loan portfolio.
• Ensure accurate and thorough credit presentations.
• Maintain accurate risk grades and appropriate loan structures to manage risk.
• Support ongoing improvement in the credit process by recommending and implementing policy and procedure modifications as necessary.
