Job summary

Customers Bank seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst/Underwriter to support its commercial real estate lending activities. You will originate a comprehensive written credit analysis and monitor borrowers, applying industry knowledge to assess risk and inform lending decisions.

The role requires a motivated, analytical thinker who can operate in a fast-paced environment, with strong Excel skills and a track record in credit analysis. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate credit analysis experience in banking.
Experience preparing credit memoranda preferred.
Experience with nCino and Salesforce preferred.
Strong MS Excel skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Perform financial statement spreading and write comprehensive credit analysis for new and existing credits.
Prepare industry research to support credit decisions.
Read loan documents and discuss issues with officers and counsel to ensure terms compliance.
Maintain complete and updated credit files; obtain current financial statements.
Meet with clients to understand their business activities and finances.
Provide credit administration support to manage risk and loan portfolio quality.
