Qualifications

• 5+ years of troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Associate’s degree in Industrial Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work at height, in extreme temperatures and noisy locations; physically demanding.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations.
• Perform inspections; document warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance; respond to emergency service calls.
• Support customers by interfacing with customer and office to repair equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
• Develop working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists.
• Responsible for company equipment including vehicles and tools.
