Job summary

Hunter Contracting Co. in Arizona seeks a skilled Crane Operator to operate hydraulic cranes and support heavy lifting on construction sites. You will inspect equipment, follow signals from the team, and maintain safe operation while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must operate Hydraulic and Friction Cranes.
• Knowledge of rigging and load limits.
• Knowledge of crane signals from the assistant.
• Five+ years crane operation experience in construction.
• Class A CDL with no Air Brake restriction.
• NCCCO Crane Certification or comparable.

Responsibilities

• Operates crane to raise and lower load line in response to signals.
• Inspects and lubricates cables, pulleys, guides, and drums.
• Inspects equipment for deficiencies and submits a report.
• Follows hand signals of the assistant to position equipment.
• Operates hand wheels, levers, and pedals to control machines.
• Watches gauges to ensure proper operation.
• Determines causes of operating errors and corrective actions.
• Maintains safe operating conditions to protect people and property.
