Job summary

Southway Crane & Rigging Inc. in Macon, GA is seeking an Experienced Crane Operator to support our growing branch. You will ensure safety, proper crane setup, and safe lifting of loads while maintaining customer focus.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL, NCCCO crane license, and have 3+ years of hydraulic crane experience. We offer competitive salary and benefits including health, vacation, holidays, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state issued Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Must have a current crane operating license (NCCCO).
• 3 or more years of operating hydraulic cranes required.
• Ability to operate crane by viewing hand signals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews next day’s job assignment and ensures rigging and equipment are ready before shift end.
• Completes Field Ticket and submits to local branch.
• Reports hours to local branch by 10:00 a.m. Monday.
• Inspects and maintains crane and equipment when not on a job.
• Reads and interprets load charts and crane operation manuals.
