Job summary

Kiewit Equipment Services seeks a Crane Manager to lead crane operations, maintenance readiness, lift planning support, and compliance across active projects. You’ll work with project leadership, equipment teams, crane services, safety, and vendors to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective crane support.

The role requires 5+ years in crane operations or related fields, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of crane operations or heavy construction equipment management experience.
Strong knowledge of crane safety, lift planning, inspections, and signaling.
Ability to lead, coach, and clearly communicate with diverse teams.
Experience using equipment management, maintenance tracking, and scheduling tools.
Excellent organizational, planning, follow-up, and time-management skills.
Hands-on work ethic; willing to work in office and field settings.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

Lead crane operations support for assigned projects, including selection, mobilization, utilization, and maintenance readiness.
Support lift planning, site crane management plans, and upgrade of crane coordination processes.
Verify inspections, certifications, and qualifications are current and properly documented.
Provide field leadership for crane setup, repair coordination, and safety compliance.
Coordinate with teams and vendors to resolve crane-related risks and equipment needs.
Track equipment status, maintenance history, utilization, and readiness using company systems.
