Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. is seeking a Craft Lead for ExxonMobil - Baton Rouge Refinery to supervise a single crew and perform work to contract specifications.

The role requires leading safety programs, planning tasks, and ensuring work is executed per scope and QA/QC standards. You will promote Brock’s safety culture, conduct job planning and toolbox talks, manage crew workloads, and verify proper loading, unloading and storage of materials while ensuring compliance with government safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ craft experience or 2 years craft experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and understand specifications, such as blueprints, to determine requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock’s safety culture in all aspects of the business.
• Perform pre-job safety planning for each work task and ensure employees adhere to safety rules.
• Conduct crew meetings and toolbox meetings; assign work and track hours and materials.
• Ensure work is performed according to contractor specifications and change orders.
• Ensure QA/QC documentation and inspections are completed.
