Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an experienced Senior CRA II based in Central US with device experience and 3+ years of monitoring expertise. The role focuses on site monitoring, site management, and leadership on assigned protocols, with potential lead responsibilities for small projects.

The position requires travel of 60-80% overnight, strong regulatory and data integrity focus, and collaboration with sponsors and Fortrea. A life sciences degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in life sciences or equivalent.
• Three years of clinical monitoring experience required.
• Fluent in English; regulatory knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of study site monitoring including routine monitoring and closeout of clinical sites, maintenance of study files, conduct of pre-study and initiation visits; liaise with vendors; and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for all aspects of site management as prescribed in the project plans.
• Serve as lead monitor for a protocol or project and may assist in establishing monitoring plans and trip report review as assigned.
• Review progress of projects and initiate appropriate actions to achieve target objectives.
