Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Project Manager to lead CQV projects for clients manufacturing GMP products. You will manage schedules, cost, scope, quality, and safety while building client relationships and guiding teams across CQV planning, execution of protocols, and start-up of systems.

You will develop CQV planning documents, generate GDP-compliant protocols, resolve discrepancies, and deliver technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or other; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong CQV experience in Life Sciences industry.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior staff.
• Experience tracking progress against schedules and cost estimates; capable of training and mentoring others.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and at various locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop CQV planning documents to manage CQV projects.
• Lead the team in generating and executing CQV protocols using GDPs.
• Lead the team in investigating and resolving protocol exceptions or discrepancies.
• Oversee development of technical reports and CQV summary reports.
• Lead startup of equipment safely and effectively; perform risk assessments and impact assessments.
• Establish handover procedures from construction to C&Q and from C&Q to client.
