Job summary

A leading semiconductor company is seeking a CPU Silicon Bring up and Validation Engineer in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will support bring up of SoCs using Custom CPUs. Responsibilities include collaborating with design teams to develop test plans, debugging silicon failures, and preparing for CPU bring up on emulators. Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS degree in CS/EE with over 5 years of experience in silicon validation and embedded firmware development. Competitive salary range from $148,300 to $250,700, along with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Silicon Validation and bring up.
• Experience with software tool chain including assemblers, C compilers.
• Implementation of assembly, C/C++ language embedded firmware.

Responsibilities

• Work with CPU design and verification teams to develop test plans.
• Prepare for CPU bring up through pre-work on emulation.
• Triage and debug failures on Silicon.
