Job summary

A leading technology company in California is looking for a CPU Silicon Bring up and Validation Engineer to support the bring up process of SoCs using custom CPUs. You’ll be working in a team to develop and validate test plans, triage failures, and ensure efficiency from silicon to production. The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in silicon validation and C/C++ firmware implementation. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Silicon Validation and bring up.
• Experience with software tool chain including assemblers, C compilers, Makefiles.
• Implementation of C/C++ language embedded firmware.

Responsibilities

• Develop CPU bring up and validation test plans.
• Triage and debug failures on Silicon.
• Prepare for CPU bring up through pre-work on emulation and FPGA platforms.
