Job summary

Occam Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Program Protection/CPI Specialist to support U.S. Army acquisition programs by identifying and safeguarding critical technologies and sensitive CPI data.

The role focuses on PPP development, CPI records, and horizontal protection strategies, with close collaboration across government and program offices. Ideal candidates have a technical background, extensive governance experience with federal stakeholders, and in-depth knowledge of Army CPI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing governance processes with federal stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience supporting defense governance activities.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Engineering or technical background with CPI and horizontal protection expertise.
• Strong knowledge of CPI identification, documentation, and protection practices.
• Ability to coordinate with technical teams, government stakeholders, and acquisition organizations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Capability Program Executives to identify CPI.
• Maintain CPI records within the Acquisition Security Database (ASDB).
• Support horizontal protection strategies across Army programs.
• Draft, review, and coordinate Program Protection Plans for milestone decisions.
• Provide feedback on PPPs during HQ staffing and review.
• Evaluate PPP tools and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to improve ASDB functionality.
• Support development of Army-wide program protection guidance and procedures.
• Facilitate program protection working groups and stakeholder coordination.
• Identify CPI risks and recommend mitigations.
