Acuren in the United States is seeking an Intermediate CP Technician to plan and perform cathodic protection testing, remediation, and installation. You will work independently or on project teams following applicable procedures and specifications.

The role requires 2+ years in pipeline integrity or oil and gas and a NACE CP2 certification. You will mentor junior staff, support quality processes, and help build trusted relationships with clients while maintaining safety standards.

Formación

• 2+ years in pipeline integrity or oil and gas industry.
• 1+ years in cathodic protection or AC mitigation.
• NACE CP2 certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and troubleshoot CP and AC mitigation deficiencies; conduct field surveys and installations.
• Maintain detailed field notes; provide assessments and recommendations.
• Sketch CP system components and electrical schematics.
• Provide technical assistance to other divisions.
• Supervise field tests (structure potential, CIPS, AC/DC tests) with minimal supervision.
• Organize data; prepare charts and tables.
• Log results and communicate with development teams; propose resolutions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality processes.
• Conform to safety procedures and build client relationships.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
