Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in financial management and administration including budgeting, accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
• At least two years of supervisory or managerial professional work.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the court, ensuring accuracy and accountability of funds.
• Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable; ensure compliance with procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and documentation for court management and external agencies.
• Oversee collection, balancing, recording, and depositing of court funds (fees, fines, restitution, penalties, etc.).
• Provide guidance and training to staff handling financial transactions to ensure consistent policy application.
• Communicate complex financial information and recommendations to judges, executives, managers, and outside agencies.
