Job summary

State of Missouri, Missouri Judiciary, seeks a Senior Court Clerk in a Missouri Circuit Court to perform advanced clerical work using an electronic filing system, handling court case processing with minimal supervision. You will interact extensively with the public and support court operations and judges.

You will prepare orders and reports, maintain records in the JIS system, and may supervise staff as needed, contributing to accurate and timely court administration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 semester hours plus two years of administrative experience.
• Ability to apply court rules and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling confidential information and interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support for judge in a division and prepare docket material.
• Enter case progress in the automated case management system (JIS).
• Contact attorneys and court personnel to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform accounting duties including receiving/disbursing monies and preparing reports.
• Answer inquiries from the public in person or by phone.
