Job summary

Amentum seeks a seasoned Counterintelligence Specialist supporting DIA to produce IC-coordinated all-source analysis on foreign intelligence threats to DoD equities worldwide. This senior role involves leading CI analytic efforts, mentoring analysts, and briefing senior officials, with eligibility contingent on clearance and funding.

Location: National Capital Region (NCR) and related assignments require top‑secret clearance and a high level of analytic rigor.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 12+ years of relevant counterintelligence experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
• Master’s degree desired in a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership of CI analytic efforts or teams.
• Established credibility briefing senior officials on CI threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI analytic efforts on hard foreign intelligence problems, spanning regional and functional portfolios.
• Review CI products for analytic rigor, cogent argument, and tradecraft compliance before they go to senior consumers.
• Brief senior DoD, IC, and law enforcement officials on foreign intelligence threats and recommended responses.
• Mentor mid-level CI analysts and shape the team’s coverage of supply chain, DCIP, and emerging technology threat areas.
• Define new research approaches for CI problems where the reporting is thin and the stakes are high.
