Job summary

Natcaptreatment in Alexandria, VA is looking for a full-time Counselor for the Adult Women's 3.1 Residential Program focused on treating substance use disorders. This role involves providing individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and maintaining client records.

The ideal candidate must have a 60 credit Master's Degree and the ability to be a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working in a human service/substance abuse treatment setting.
• Fluent proficiency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients enrolled in residential treatment.
• Develop individualized service plans for each client.
• Maintain client records and document changes in client behavior.
