Job summary

Management & Training Corporation in Dayton, Texas seeks a licensed professional counselor to join our state jail support team. You will design treatment plans, deliver counseling, and coordinate services to help offenders on their path to recovery.

This full-time role requires a Master’s degree, Texas licensure (LPC/LMSW or psychologist), and several years of experience. You will collaborate with correctional staff to maintain a Therapeutic Community and provide documentation and progress

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, mental health, or related field and Texas LPC/LMSW/licensed psychologist.
• Four years related experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license unless waived.
• Must pass annual background and in-service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex treatment programs and discharge plans.
• Provide counseling and recovery skills training; lead groups.
• Maintain a Therapeutic Community within the facility with staff collaboration.
• Collaborate with supervisors and medical professionals on case needs to aid in achieving goals.
• Conduct diagnosis and evaluation tests to determine needs and develop plans.
• Prepare progress reports and discharge recommendations; assist supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality and audit records to ensure complete documentation.
• Ensure all treatments and programs are completed per policy.
