Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and NY State Licensure as a QHP preferred (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).

• This is an on-site, strictly in-person position at our Newfane, NY location.

Responsibilities

• Caseload management: maintain and manage an assigned patient caseload with high-quality, continuous care.
• Clinical therapy: conduct weekly individual and group counseling sessions as assigned.
• Assessments & Intakes: perform comprehensive patient assessments and clinical intake procedures.
• Treatment planning: participate actively in treatment plan development and weekly case conferences.
• Cultural diversification: assist in developing clinical treatment tracks diversified in language and culture.
• Compliance & quality assurance: assist with weekly utilization reviews and clinical documentation audits.
• Crisis intervention: provide immediate input to address and resolve client crises.
• Discharge planning: assist with clinical discharge processes and ensure timely documentation.
• Administrative support: review incident reports and assist clinical leadership with admin tasks.

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified clinical professional to join our team Urban Recovery in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, you will adhere to OASAS regulatory standards to provide exceptional care within our Inpatient Withdrawal and Stabilization (Part 816) and/or Inpatient Rehabilitation (Part 818) programs. You will manage a dedicated caseload, facilitate therapy, and deliver evidence-based, best practice care to support our patients and their families on their journey to recovery.

• Caseload Management: Maintain and manage an assigned patient caseload, ensuring high-quality, continuous care.
• Clinical Therapy: Conduct weekly individual and group counseling sessions as assigned.

Requirements

• Education & Licensing: Master's Degree and New York State Licensure as a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) preferred (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC). CASAC Advanced or Master level or NYSED licensed QHP Required.
• This is a strictly on-site position. Daily in-person attendance at our Newfane, New York location is required for this role.
• Experience: 2 years of proven, progressive experience delivering and managing substance abuse treatment, ideally in an inpatient setting.
• Expertise: Strong background in trauma-informed care, family therapy, and clinical supervision.
• Availability: Exempt status with weekend on-call responsibilities for clinical escalations.
